A few characters
have the ability to absorb another living being and adapt their power
and knowledge for themselves. This technique is slightly different from
fusion or the use of Potara Rings in that the personalities do not mix.
The Namekian absorption doesn't
require a dance or any special objects. The Namekians'
bodies can undergo fusion/absorption when one of the two Namekians puts
his hand on the other Namekian's
chest - and then boom, it happens.
Cell uses his
tail to consume whoever he wants to absorb. Buu can use his body to
consume (by wrapping around his target) whoever he wants to absorb.
